Each Club year (1 July to 30 June) the
Club Captain organises a Motor Sport Championship. This championship
is based upon the participation in, and results of, a number
of competition rounds (approximately 10 per year). The competition
rounds are usually sprint, hillclimb or motorkhana events,
and the eligible rounds are selected by the Club Captain -
Motor Sport.
All events are open to Club members holding a CAMS Level 2S (or
higher) licence. All events for the championship are of the
single-car variety -- ie, against the clock rather than head-to-head
-- so there is almost no chance of damage occurring. Daily-driven
cars are perfectly suitable; you do not need a dedicated track
car.

Entrant's Statement
Prior to competing in any year's Motor Sport Championship, each entrant must complete a "Entrant's Statement / Classification Form", giving details of their vehicle (including modifications) and nominating the Class in which they wish to compete. These forms need to be signed and lodged with the Club's Classification Officer, Col Ruck, who will check the details and confirm the competition Class.
